Marta Majchrowska & Piotr Nowak- Professional Kizomba & Semba Teachers from Wroclaw, Poland
Marta Majchrowska and Piotr Nowak have been teaching together for over six years, but their adventure with dance began much earlier. Since they are a couple in real life and not just on the dance floor, they have been able to increase their development and dance training in both Kizomba and Semba at an accelerated pace.
For this dance couple from Wroclaw, Poland, Kizomba & Semba Dancing is their passion and this can be seen in their performances, choreography and workshops throughout cities and towns in Poland.
Currently, they teach approximately 20 hours of classes each week with groups of dancers with various levels of experience. They also hold very popular and well attended intensive Kizomba and Semba weekend courses throughout Poland.
They are helping to grow a quickly expanding Kizomba scene throughout Poland with many of their dance students reaching high skill levels. Working at their passion full-time allows them to develop and improve their teaching methods, the effects of which can be seen throughout the national Kizomba and Semba dance scene.
As consummate dance professionals, they are also constantly improving their skills by training with some of the best instructors in the world.
They have performed as dancers in four choreographies in the international project” World Hug Dance Project”, which gave them the opportunity to gain invaluable international stage experience. They also perform at various shows, events and at large dance festivals in Poland and abroad.
Marta and Piotr were also coordinators for one of the groups who were part of the international choreographic project known as Xtraga. This project was created by the Portuguese duo Miguel & Susana who are based in Lisbon, Portugal. This Portuguese duo is part of a group called the Fantastic Four, which includes our own Kizomba Embassy Ambassadors Paulo & Lanna.
These diverse dance experiences have assisted them in creating and growing their own dance projects as professional choreographers.
Since 2018 they have had the honor and pleasure to be instructors at the Christmas Kizomba Festival in Lisbon, one the best kizomba festivals in the world.
