Echedey & Romarey – Professional Kizomba, Semba & Ginga Instructors – Canary Islands,Spain.
Echedey & Romarey are professional Kizomba Instructors based out of the Gran Canary Islands, Spain. They started dancing Kizomba back in 2011. Since then they have continue to train and travel worldwide to expand their dance skills.
They have taken classes with many of the top Kizomba Dancers to include Mandela, Miguel and Susana, Paulo e Lanna, Bonifácio Aurio, Fabricio Do Zangado, João Rocha, Josy Semkiz, Márcio Junqueira, Tomás Keita, Mestre Petchu, Vanessa Ginga Pura, Rico Suave and Adda Dociu, Frans and Sarah Kizomba love, Helio Santos, Eliza Sala, Ana Rita, Tony Viser and Carla Andrade, Lety and Dani.
They were the Runners-up for Spain at the International Finalists of the 2016 Africadançar Lisbon Championship. Additionally they have collaborated with many other international artists to include Mandela, Tomás Keita, Bonifácio Aurio, Paulo e Lanna, Tony Viser and Carla Andrade.
Their dance journey had been very rewarding and they have savored many beautiful memories while attending both national and international festivals and events.
For them, Kizomba is not just a dance, it is a culture and passion that they have a lot of respect for it. Being able to transmit and share what they feel when dancing is a gift.
In 2018 Romarey started the project “My Ginga”, giving Ginga classes applied to Kizomba and Semba. The objective in these classes is firstly for each woman to individually work on her natural ginga through movement, secondly to find her essence and enjoy each moment and help her connect with herself, as dancing awakens emotions and feelings in a natural way.
