DJ Mineiro is a Professional Kizomba DJ and Kizomba Embassy Ambassador from London, United Kingdom.
Originally from Benguela, Angola, he currently lives in London. With an ear for what sounds good, DJ Mineiro takes inspiration from a wide variety of musical genres, sampling everything from Kizomba, Semba, Afro Beat, Kuduro, Salsa, Bachata, Hip-hop, and R&B.
His resume is long with over 10 years of experience as a DJ. This includes being the Resident DJ at the well-known Equilibrio Nightclub for over 3 years, and a Resident DJ at Lusitânia ex Britânia nightclub in London.
He also worked as a DJ at various nightclubs and bars around London to include: Kizomba & Kalor, Nomad, Scalalatina, Gem Bar, Clube Vicio, Purple Night, Fire, Noite das Baladas, Britannia Club, and Jet Set Club.
Additionally, he has also played at the following locations in Birmingham: Testa com Testa, Sedução, and Motion City.
DJ Mineiro also performed at the following festivals around the world: the Sardinia Afro Beach Festival in Italy, the Love Like London Festival, the Tá Bom Festival in Spain, the Sunny Beach Kizomba Festival in Bulgaria, the Ginga Festival in Hamburg, the Azembora Festival in Tenerife, the Motion City Festival and Ginga Boo Festivals in the Uk.
Combining his special technical skills with his passion for music, DJ Mineiro always puts on innovative and energetic performances.
