Ami Nagano is a well-known and passionate Kizomba dancer and Kizomba Embassy Ambassador from Tokyo, Japan. Specifically, she has a very diverse dance background which includes Ballet, Salsa, Bachata, and other dance styles. 

She splits her time between Japan, France, and Portugal.  In Japan, she can frequently be found holding advanced dance workshops.  These workshops include Kizomba, UrbanKiz, Taraxxo, and ladies’ styling.  Indeed these workshops are very popular and are normally held in major cities across Japan. 

Ami Nagano is also a frequent guest instructor at numerous Kizomba festivals and events throughout Asia, North America, and Europe.

Ami fell in love with Kizomba a few years back. In 2020 she decided to move to Paris, France.  She made this move so that she could learn from some of the best Kizomba, UrbanKiz, and also Taraxxo artists and teachers.  Above all, this Kizomba Dancer from Japan is well known for being kind, friendly, and adventurous.  

In 2021, Ami formed a new partnership with Julien. Since then they have won the Champion of Olympiads of Kizomba in 2023,  1st place in the Urban Kiz Sensual Category, and 3rd place in the Urban Kiz Category. 

Their style is based on Urban Kiz, but they blend it with other dance styles such as Brazilian Zouk, Bachata, Salsa, and Tango. Moreover, they focus on the essence of Urban Kiz and Fusion, with precise lead-and-follow techniques. 

Their goal is for both dancers to enjoy the music and uniquely express themselves. This couple excels at dancing while adjusting their movements to the energy and emotions of the music.
